Initiated 2 April 2024, Pyrophore is SP Press’ public information file analysing and cataloguing the landscape in which trans people are being forced to exist.

Inclusion in Pyrophore is not itself a judgement of character or morality, simply of significance; many organisations catalogued here are benign or trans-allied. However, on some articles, we include a notation for Pyrophore IFF (identification friend-or-foe), which succinctly expresses the opinion of the Pyrophore Working Group on the subject in as few words as possible.
