What is Several Problems Press?

Several Problems Press (SPP) is an online platform publishing media analysis and open-source intelligence,¹ with a primary focus on transgender community affairs and safety.

Who is SPP?

SPP currently has one permanent member, me, Isabelle Moreton, serving as, for lack of a better word, lead editor. The “Press” name is aspirational; I gave SPP that name because:

• I am happy to take responsibility (and credit) for my own writing, but I don’t want my work to be seen as something I do to build a personal brand;
• I want to be able to use SPP as a platform to amplify others.
